Muskrat Ramble

Early this morning, shortly before the sun rose, Jeff was outside watching the sky and the trees and listening for morning bird calls. He looked out toward 44th Avenue, East which borders the west side of our lot and saw a muskrat going south toward Regent St. I don't believe he has ever seen one in our neighborhood before. Anyway, the muskrat got to Regent St. and headed west. I hope it found the creek that flows a block and a half west! Hephzibah, the cat, was found looking out the kitchen window trying to figure out what that critter was! It wasn't a deer, another cat or one of the dogs that she sees.
